MyEMR® Pocket PC Document Window Minimize

MyEMR for the Pocket PC's document window
The document window is where your chiropractic SOAP notes, exams and narrative reports are generated.  This window contains:

  • Random text generation of your SOAP notes, exams and narrative reports.
  • Software keyboard input from a variety of Microsoft's Pocket PC keyboards, including letter block handwriting recognition, cursive handwriting recognition, and a standard QWERTY typewriter keyboard.
  • Audio capture as part of Microsoft's embedded Rich Ink window.
  • Digital ink stylus drawings as part of Microsoft's embedded Rich Ink window.
  • CatchPhrase's point-and-click insertion of user defined clipboard information, including random text behavior.
  • Full backdating capabilities modeled after the needs of a professional transcriptionist, but available for the random text generation features.
  • Tap-and-hold popup context menu options for generating brief or comprehensive SOAP notes, exams or narrative reports.
  • MyEMR for the Pocket PC also contains the ability to suppress subjective, objective, assessment and plan components for maximum flexibility when generating your SOAP notes, exams and reports.
  • The S+ checkbox, when unchecked, suppresses Roland Morris, Oswestry and History of Occurence for use in backdating.
  • The O+ checkbox, when unchecked, suppresses the Vital Signs, and visual observations, for use in backdating.
  • The Exams checkbox, when unchecked, suppresses orthopedic/neurological testing for use in backdating.
  • The A+ checkbox, when unchecked, suppresses the work restrictions for use in backdating.
  • The DX checkbox, when unchecked, suppresses the diagnosis from being generated into the note when backdating.
  • The DATE button is where the user can establish the date of the note that is generated prior to saving or exiting the patient.
  • The various checkbox buttons override the normal behaviors for users who are current and not backdating.  Normally, when a diagnosis is changed it generates for that day.  Also, if orthopedic exams are changed on that day, they are generated, and so on.  When backdating, the computer senses these things have changed and they continue to generate into the note.  The checkboxes override this default normal behavior that is normally desired for generating notes on a current basis.
