MyEMR for the Pocket PC Home window:  Select patients

Select patients from the MyEMR chiropractic Pocket PC home window.  MyEMR stores the entire database of your active or PRN patients, up to 3600 patients and all their findings.

  • Type a letter (or a few letters) of the patient's last name and press the "Search" bar.  You will see matching patient's in the bright red "Match" list.
  • Select patients more precisely by touching a few characters of the patient's last name, and then a character of their first name.  The "Match" list returns few patients.
  • Touch the patient in the bright red "Match" list to mark them as "In Treatment".
  • You can also select patient's by their chart number.
  • The red "Match" list and green "In Treatment" lists make these lists easily recognizable such as a traffic stop/go light!
  • You can check an unlimited number of patient "In Treatment", for example the appointment schedule for the day.  If you close MyEMR or soft reset the Pocket PC, your patients will remain "In Treatment" until you specifically close or exit the patient to remove them from the "In treatment" list.
  • Toggle between several patients:  You can work on several patients simultaneously.  If you are in any of the patient's SOAP windows, for example placing a patient on hot packs, you can leave that patient, press the "Home" icon on the toolbar, and select a different patient that's "In Treatment".
  • Because the Pocket PC operating system runs completely from its memory (it doesn't have a hard disk), the responsiveness is virtually instantaneous and outperforms the fastest desktop computers available today using any chiropractic software.
