ThirdPartySync – chiropractic software data conversions from other vendors' software products
ThirdPartySync is an application that lets you import patient demographic (name, address, phone, SSN, DOB, etc.) from your existing billing system in the database of MyEMR for Windows and EMR Datacenter. Because the patients are then loaded in MyEMR for Windows, Pocket PC users of MyEMR also get their patients synchronized onto the Pocket PC.
ThirdPartySync is designed to run "recursively", meaning that you can run the synchronization regularly, even after you've added a new patient in your existing software. ThirdPartySync analyzes the changes since the last synchronization, so it adds new patients, but also updates any address changes.
As you see in the figure below, we provide imports for several common products in the chiropractic market. If your software application is a "common" one, we are happy to create additional imports. What we would need from you is a recorded CD-R of your data directory sent to: Software Motif / ATTN: Data conversion / 301 Clematis Street, Ste. 3000 / W. Palm Beach, FL 33401-4609. From a copy of your data, we can create a data import and add it to the list in ThirdPartySync.
(Some vendors' databases are read easily without any additional software purchase. The only vendor in this list that would require you to purchase an ODBC driver is Eclipse. Their last known price for the ODBC driver is $99, and it is available from Eclipse's sales department.)

ThirdPartySync can be set to run automatically using the Windows Scheduler. The command line prompt to be used for the Windows Scheduler is:
"C:\Program Files\Chirosoft\DBRebuild\ThirdPartySync.exe" /AUTO
where /AUTO indicates a silent mode. In the Windows Scheduler, you can set this to run every 5 minutes or 15 minutes throughout the business day, as you prefer. After the initial synchronization is run, re-running the synchronization takes an average of 2 to 3 seconds to import changes since the last synchronization. The "Import Source Format" and "Default Provider ID" are memorized and stored in the Windows Registry, so if you can run ThirdPartySync manually a few times, you are then appropriate to use the /AUTO command line parameter.
